LOve and hope

Love and Hope was founded in 2010 by Mikael and Ing-Marie Alfvén from Sweden. In the beginning it was just meant to help a small number of girls in Nepal. But during this journey their commitment and lifes were drastically changed and the small commitment grow and soon this was something that completly took over their lifes and lifes of many in Nepal, India and Sweden.

Love and Hope is running several hostels for girls in Nepal and India. Through the years Love and Hope has been a part of multiple rescuemissions in the brothels in India. But though rescueing girls and keeping them safe is very important and an integral part of LH:s operation, LH:s hope and vision is to be part of changing peoples minds and empowering girls by education to see that there is a different future ahead. To accomplish this LH is working closely with people in the brothel to serve and help the kids and the women who lives there. With social programs in the vicinity and with Love and Hope English School real change is starting to happen…
